Recent work
Crytocurrency Exchange Provider
Acted as GC for a cryptocurrency trading exchange provider, advising on disputes, software development, employment, share scheme and regulatory issues, and the management of cross border / multi-jurisdictional matters.
LawTech start-up
Acted for LawTech start-up, Legal Utopia, following a £300k funding injection from InnovateUK, providing compliance advice and general counsel services to support the business in the commercialisation of a series of new products designed to facilitate legal guidance to people who would otherwise find it difficult to obtain access to justice.
Business advice
Acted as GC for a business which had been instructing three large well-known law firms. The work was outsourced to Jurit, who spent a day a week ‘in the office’ as GC, saving the client a significant sum of money over the course of the instruction.
Kyros Projects
Acted as GC for Kyros Projects negotiating outsourced service agreements with Google and Auriens, including negotiation of a supply agreement for a nutrition product. Brought together additional expertise from across Jurit to advise on a shareholders agreement for a subsidiary, as well as providing data protection and TUPE advice.
